June is a graduate of Saint Mary’s of the Plains College in Dodge City, Kansas receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in education. She was the President/CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Finney County in Garden City, Kansas for three years. June moved to Roanoke in 1995 to become the President/CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Roanoke. In 2002 the Roanoke agency merged with both the New River Valley and Roanoke Valley Big Brothers Big Sisters to become the new entity, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Virginia
Match Support Specialist
Reema was born and raised in Roanoke. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Eastern Studies. Currently, she is pursuing her Master of Science in Nonprofit Management. She served Big Brothers Big Sisters as an AmeriCorps member in 2015 and is now a part-time member of the BBBS team.
Match Support Specialist

Stacey is originally from Chilhowie, Virginia. She graduated from Old Dominion University in 2008 with a B.S. in Psychology. She has previous experience providing case management services to youth in the community. Stacey joined Big Brothers Big Sisters as the Match Support Specialist in February 2016.
Robin Claris is from Roanoke, VA and a graduate of Marymount University. She joined Big Brothers Big Sisters as the administrative assistant in September 2016.

Lauren is from Botetourt County. She just graduated from Roanoke College in May of 2016. Lauren has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Sociology with a Concentration in Latin American Studies. She is a member of AmeriCorps and works as a Match Support Specialist for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Roanoke and Salem City schools.
Pulaski Match Support Specialist

Tim is from Knoxville, Tennessee, and moved to Virginia in 2008. He has 30+ years experience working with at-risk youth beginning as a peer mentor-tutor for homeless children in Knoxville. He is a registered behavioral technician through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and spent the last four years working with children with autism. He graduated from Berea College with a degree in History. Tim currently lives in Radford.
Educational Support Specialist

Beth is a 1997 graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She began working part time as Match Support Specialist and Education Support Specialist for the Oliver Hill Mentoring Program in 2014 and is now a full time employee. Her primary responsibilities include the day to day operation and educational enrichment for the Oliver Hill Mentoring Program.
