Josh Thoemke

Josh is from Annapolis, Maryland, and moved to Virginia in 2008.  He graduated from James Madison University in 2012.  Josh has worked in non profits since college in fundraising and management.  

Beth Reedy
Director of Programs

Beth is a 1997 graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She began working with the Oliver Hill Mentoring Program in 2014 and is now Director of Programs. Her primary responsibilities include accountability for program performance and meeting annual agency program goals.

Reema Azar
Match Support Specialist

Reema was born and raised in Roanoke. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Eastern Studies. Currently, she is pursuing her Master of Science in Nonprofit Management. She served Big Brothers Big Sisters as an AmeriCorps member in 2015 and is now a part-time member of the BBBS team.

Morgan Fuller
Match Support Specialist

Morgan is from Raleigh, North Carolina, and moved to Roanoke, Virginia, in 2017. She graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2014 where she studies Sports Management and created after school program grants for Guilford County Schools. She has 13+ years working with youth through directing summer camps, teaching preschoolers, and serving as a youth director for the YMCA. In the past 3 years Morgan specialized in running inclusion programs for children with medical and mental disabilities

Tim Lewellyn
Pulaski Match Support Specialist

Tim is from Knoxville, Tennessee, and moved to Virginia in 2008.  He has 30+ years experience working with at-risk youth beginning as a peer mentor-tutor for homeless children in Knoxville.  He is a registered behavioral technician through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and spent the last four years working with children with autism.  He graduated from Berea College with a degree in History. Tim currently lives in Radford. 

Jessica McKeon

Jessie is originally from Galveston, TX and came to Virginia by way of New Orleans, Indiana, and New Jersey. She spent 15 years in the youth service industry at various camps and has experience in volunteer training and support. She has a Bachelor's degree in Performing and Visual Arts from USC Aiken and expects her Master's in Instructional Design and Technology from Virginia Tech in December 2018. Jessie is proud to be able to serve Southwest Virginia as a Match Support Specialist with BBBS.
